Now, if the RIAA wants to wipe out online music piracy – fine. When it gets on the back of guys who spend hours of their free time uploading stuff that helps people learn the opening riff of “Sweet Home Alabama” – WHY???

Would David Gilmour really want to ban people from teaching amateur guitar players the intro to “Wish You Were Here”?

Get real, RIAA.

Hasn’t the recording industry just totally lost their sense of perspective / humour / humanity / reality here?

What’s your take?
Good points, phovisi. But I would ask how a 14-year-old in her bedroom, learning one of your songs on guitar, would deprive you of income?
